Gentle Dining Achieves ISO 22000 Certification

We are incredibly proud to announce a major milestone. Gentle Dining Pte. Ltd. has officially been assessed and certified as conforming to ISO 22000:2018.

Gentle Dining Pte. Ltd. is proud to announce that it has received ISO 22000:2018 certification from SOCOTEC for the food safety management system covering its Central Kitchen and Wholesale activities. This recognition from an independent third party is a major step forward for our company and staff.

Understanding the Standard

ISO 22000 is an international standard that defines the requirements for a Food Safety Management System (FSMS). By meeting these strict criteria, Gentle Dining has demonstrated its ability to:

  • Plan, implement, operate, maintain, and update a system aimed at providing products that are safe for their intended use.

  • Demonstrate compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory food safety requirements.

  • Effectively communicate food safety issues to interested parties within the food chain.

  • Control food safety hazards to ensure that food is safe for consumption.

Our Certified Scope

The certification covers a wide range of our operations, ensuring safety across Categories C & FI (Sub-categories CIII & FI):

1. Central Kitchen Preparation of cooked ready-to-eat food, cooked frozen food, and cooked frozen puréed food. This includes:

  • Rice

  • Noodle

  • Meat

  • Fish & Seafood

  • Fruit

  • Vegetable

  • Light meals

  • Desserts

  • Bento Meals

2. The wholesale distribution of ambient and chilled puree food.
