Liyana graduated with a Master of Science (Speech and Language Pathology) from National University of Singapore (NUS).

Liyana’s experience spans across the hospital and community settings (e.g., acute hospitals, adult day activity centres, nursing homes). She has previously supported adults with swallowing and communication difficulties across a variety of conditions including dementia, Parkinson’s, head and neck cancers, stroke and TBI. 

Liyana is a firm believer in providing person-centred and family centred care when supporting patients and their caregivers, this is so that everyone is empowered to engage and participate in activities that are important in their lives.
