This breadth of experience has enabled her to support clients with varying needs across different stages of their care and rehabilitation journey.

Her clinical experience spans communication, speech, language, feeding and swallowing difficulties. She has worked with individuals presenting with conditions including aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, speech and language difficulties, social communication challenges, dysphagia and feeding difficulties. Her experience includes both paediatric and adult populations, as well as clients with developmental and neurological conditions.

Aisyah takes a personalised and practical approach to therapy, recognising that each individual has different needs, goals and circumstances. She works closely with clients, families and caregivers to develop meaningful strategies that can be incorporated into everyday life. Her experience in home-based and community settings has strengthened her focus on functional communication, participation and quality of life beyond the therapy setting.

In addition to direct clinical work, Aisyah has experience in parent and caregiver coaching, professional education, clinical supervision and mentoring. She has conducted workshops for parents and multidisciplinary professionals, mentored speech therapists and students on clinical placements, and contributed to quality improvement and research initiatives.

Aisyah has a particular interest in speech difficulties, communication disorders and the relationship between neuroscience and communication. She has pursued professional development in areas including dysphagia and feeding, paediatric speech and language, social communication, autism, fluency, apraxia of speech, neurorehabilitation and augmentative and alternative communication.

She holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from La Trobe University, Australia, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Speech Difficulties from the University of Sheffield, UK.
